The Map of Becoming
I started this painting back in 2023, and two years later, this 2025, I gave it an entire week of focus, pouring my heart, soul, and a part of my life into finishing it. I stopped attending meetings, gatherings or any that will take my day.
At 37, I still don’t fully know what I will become. Life has been a series of ups and downs, never a straight path. Yet every “no” from the Lord has always realigned me to the path He prepared for me.
Even before I was born, everything has already been mapped out — my destination set by God, the universe aligning, and the Spirit guiding me. Through the blueprint within my very DNA, I trust I will arrive at the life He has designed for me.
This piece, The Map of Becoming, is an Art of my life.
The world feels painful, full of trials, but I believe every struggle is part of a greater plan. Like Joseph the Dreamer, whose journey was far from ordinary yet destined for greatness, I trust that each of us has a path that will eventually reveal light, healing, and power.
The map is already within us. We just need the courage to keep walking and to trust that in time, we will ascend.
May this painting be a gift for the one who will own it. And as he sees it every day, may the Spirit dwell in him, guide him in navigating his life, and lead him to become his full potential.
